Writing my graduate essay was an exciting and daunting task. I was inspired and had all the ideas but the scary part was not knowing exactly what the schools were looking for in a graduate admission essay. VOCES’ technical writer helped me take my ideas and passion and sculpt them into something concise and direct. It was amazing to get her tips about changing the wording a little here and a little there to make a powerful change in how my voice came across. In the end it had all the elements I wanted: passion, organization and conciseness. I also got into my top choice program!
